Etsy wants you to succeed. In that location's so many resource available and they volition nudge you in the right management to get more than sales and to bring customers your way. For the first few months I used to just go off of emails. I Used to dear selling on Etsy, I opened my shop a little over a year agone and while i don't get a lot of orders I feel like my store is successful, I get great reviews and haven't gotten annihilation other then v stars. But then they inverse how payments piece of work just before Christmas. pay off the fees once a month and buy postage stamp out of pocket which wasn't a big deal, I would pay under $iv in fees a month and $2.75 for postage. I preferred it that was and then I could get my entire payment from my very inexpensive product.
The new system withholds the money from my orders and then subtracts the fees and postage from that money until I can get information technology into my depository financial institution business relationship (it will just deposit money on concern days). I tried to see if i could pay for postage stamp at the fourth dimension of buy like i used to, but they have no choice for that anymore, instead the fees sit in your payment waiting to either be paid off at the end of the calendar month or for you to become another club and then it tin can take a large amount of that money.
I'1000 not making any money off of my production considering they keep subtracting the fees from the buy. I have a four dollar fee sitting in the payment that I tin't pay until the end of the month.
I honey being an Etsy seller but unless they go back to the old method or give usa the option to pay for postage and fees before the billing cycle ends then I'll accept to close down my store.

Am I the only person who despises this app? It's honestly and then bad that I hate the thoughts of list something. First of all, (with the iPhone Ten at least) it can be ridiculously easy to just swipe off of a listing that yous're working on. So, basically, after spending what feels like forever jumping through the hoops to create one — titles, pics, description, variations, etc. — it's gone. Simply gone, subsequently all that time and effort. Why tin't there be a "Are you sure you want to go out this listing?" or "Would you like to salvage this list equally a draft?" or another option that MAKES SENSE. Instead, in that location'due south nothing. You accidentally slide your finger too far across your screen, then you but have to start over. WHICH takes a lot of fourth dimension and piece of work considering (my next point) that at that place isn't an selection to save variations to use on future listings. PLEASE consider those of u.s.a. who do custom clothing. Gildan, Condolement Colors, etc. have A LOT of color options to choose from. I Want to give my customers options, only I don't feel like it when I have to manually type in 30+ colors every fourth dimension I post a dissimilar design. It's 2022. Etsy has been a matter for years now. Why isn't this figured out already? Even if this is different on a desktop or laptop, it'south just not as convenient.
